Beating the Metal Gear Ray

I need some good tips on beating the Ray!
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I find the battle against the three Metal Gears very difficult.

Help?

Heres the low down there are multiple ways to do it.On hard this is what i did stay back and fire at one there knees then when there on side shoot them in the mouth and it'll take iut some serious damage.To avoid missle coming in from above just run in a general direction.The missle that come directly at you you'll have to time a cartwheel right before they reach you to avoid them.Another way on beating them would to go right up to them and get them to fire there laser at you.After they do they'll be in that one place,then move to the side and fire a rocket up there mouths.If you have a specific problem put it up and i'll help but this is as good as i can do for now.
