does anybody here like Unreal Tournament. i want to find out if its as good as it looks.

i own the ps2 version, there's alot better FPS titles out there. If your looking for the ultimate single player deathmatch experiance well then UT is it. The multiplayer is good too but it only allows Caprture the Flag and Deathmatch modes no Domination.

Also there aren't many Maps availale in multiplayer. The single player is fun though, no real plot..except for the tournament itself. Kind reminds me of a fighting game but with guns.

I have it and it's worth getting if you plan on playing multiplayer. Plus it's only like $15-20

I Got The Game And I Really Like It. Its Nice, Very Above Average Graphics

And The GamePlay Is GOOD Too. Very Nice Infact.

But A Little Dodgy With The Controls. U Will Not Be That HAPPY With It After Playing 007, MOH, RedFaction And Games Like That.
May Be The Controls Are Too EASY And Simple. I Dunno!.!

But An OVER All Great GAME!.!

I really like the single player mode...ohhh

But if what you're looking for is more of a *multi-player* type of game, then I suggest you rent it first, so you can get the feel for the game.

I assume we're talking about the PS2 version? Personally, I dislike all PS2 FPS', and always play them on the PC, so I can't really comment on the PS2 version, however Unreal Tournament is just about my favorite FPS... but I can't really see it working to well in Single Player... The specs required to run it on the PC aren't very high, the game isn't very expensive, and you get a much fuller game on the PC, so perhaps you should consider the game on PC instead? Theres bound to be a demo still hanging around on the net somewhere...

... or you could always download the UT2003 demo that came out on Friday: only 10hrs on a 28k connection!
