But new age 90's rock sucks. 80's rock is like 100 times better. I wouldn't say they are crap but i dont think they r that good.

Have you heard them live.There is no other band like them in this era and the only couple of bands from the 80's hold a finger or go above them.For how long they been out they do an absolute phemnonal job.Go to Kazaa or whatever and download some of there live shows,there great.

well i will do that then but i still wont like em. and ive never takin guitar or singin lessons and im awesome at guitar, i think the guitar player of creed isnt that good anyway! but hes still got some talent

Not that GOOD!?Are you kidding.Mark tremonti is one of the best guitarist of the 90's.He is also self taught that same as you and me.Did you take a look at that short lead he did at www.bill-peck.com.How can you watch that and say hey the guy isn't that good.

Nope he did not most the of the greats didn't take lessons they developed there own style instead of being taught someone elses.Notice that Van Halen sounds different from Creed and Metallica cause all the guitarists are self taught.Hetfield,Hammet,Halen,Tremonti all have distinct styles of playing.Then we have some of the newer guitarists.I think Travis (blink 182) and the guitarist (atleast one of them) from new found glory took a few lessons when they were young and you notice that the two bands sound similar in a few songs.I know this is totally off topic but i've seen a lot of cases dealing with self taught guitarist vs taught and i wanted to point it out.

I haven't taken any lessons. I play the bass mostly. I taught myself how to play (well adam taught me a few things but I mostly taught myself). I can play the normal guitar to, but im not very good.
