I try and watch my food intake. My mom has always been skinny, but recently she broke up with her boyfriend and got fat. She's all depressed and shit, so I use her as an example as why not to get fat. I have been skinny all my life. I'm 5'6", and I only weigh 115 lbs. I'm 16 too, but I watch my diet more than most 16 year olds. I'm a guy but all the girls say I watch my fats like they do , but what I usually do to make sure I'm not getting fat is to take my finger and run it along the grooves of my abs (6 pack... whatever you wanna call it) and make sure there is no fat there. As soon as I feel something I'm signing up for a subscription to the nearest Nautalis!!!

U can't be hatin on the fat people. I mean really what the point on being skinny. YOur all boney an dif someone punches you..your like hurting becaus ei t hit your bone. Me im not that fat but more like in the middle. I got the power and the appetite. So all those skinny people out their...the fat people are coming.

Balance is the best thing. Everybody should check their ideal weight and avoid being too skinny or too fat. Both being skinny or fat is dangerous for your health.

uhhh being skinny is better than being fat because you are more fit. i'm not talking about crack whore skinny. I'm talking about toned skinny. A fat person uses up more energy carrying 200 lbs up a hill compared to a skinny person carrying 115 up a hill. It just means that they are able to do more when they are active. I enjoy being active so I would rather be skinny.

Im saying you can be two hundred pounds and still be strong as a mofo. I mean you could be really strong and still be thick. Look at some of the best football players world wide......there big but still fit.

Very true. You noticed on Tough Competitions that all the people are these bigger guys with huge guys. Hardly ever do you see those ripped muscle men on there.

For me I just eat what I feel like. If I feel like what I ate was to fatty, I just be sure to exercise more the next day.

I ear rather randomly, from having nothing ot eat all day to having about 50 snacks in one day. I never really thought much as to what I eat affects my body since I exercise a lot so I gain fat real slowly (if I do gain any, at all).

But really; food, it completes me. I love food and it loves me. If you put someting in front of my face and it doesnt smell absolutely awful, chances are, I'll eat it.

Funny thing is that I am the only one in my family that is really like this, not gaining fat real easily. My uncle is the only guy in my family who doesnt have a gut. Probably when I hit 30, my fatty genes are going to go crazy and I'll just turn into a elephant.

This is how I relate to food and diet.----------------------------------

Well, when I was younger I was never taught about nutrition. I was pretty much able to eat whatever and whenever I wanted. I think it was about 5th grade when I noticed that I was obess. I was teased about it a lot until 8th grade and now people only rib me when they feel dissed. For the last few years people have always said things such as, "You aren't fat. I can't even tell really." "I don't even notice your stomach." "I think that you are just built bigger, like broad shoulders and all that."
I understand that everyone is different, and there's a variety of human builds with men and women.

When I try to change my eating habbits for a healthier diet it was harder when I was younger. I didn't know anything until Sophomore year. Kind of late, I know. Better late than never. That's when I became a member of weight watchers and we talk about a variety of things at the meetings. I'm still struggling with my eating habbits because smell and habbit is linked to memories. Whenever I want to visit familiarity is when I hit a huge brick wall with my progress.

I noticed that as I eat healthier that I become intolerant to the junk and fatty foods that used to be consumed. The food becomes dissatisfing. As if the food splits into it's original particles and you can taste them seperately. I guess with the more information you accumulate the easier it is to identify what you are eating and tasting.

Rules for a good diet (whatever you eat is a diet.)

Eat a varitey of food - different kinds of veggies, fruits, etc. Don't constantly eat the same food because there is something that you will be keeping from your body, like as if someone only gave you a left shoe.

2-3 servings of milk or milk enriched products.

3 servings of meat, not always eat the same thing constantly/everyday.

Lots of water- 6 glasses (which is two cups each)

Try and eat wholesome foods and spend little of your hunger on other food like chocolate and all that because you need a little of that too.

I think if I followed these things then I would be fit but I just don't have the time for that. I am still trying to find a way to fit it into my life and to find its availbility to suit it.


This is my reply to other posts--------------------------

Please I weigh over 200 pounds and I'm really active. I walk everywhere and I work like there's no tomorrow. Before I went to driver's ed in the spring I used to go to the gym everyday after school and I'd work out for 2-3 hours. I loved gym class and swim. I wanted to take an extra swim class and do some afterschool sports but I have no time.

That's why I'm always stressed out and irritable.

Just because someone is fat, thick, obess or whatever doesn't mean they aren't active. People who are skinny usually have a faster metabolism than fatter people and the ones that don't found a good way to deal with it.
