I'm not a collector. In my life, I cannot remember vividly collecting anything. As these "fads" hit and died, I bought some things... a little bit of everything, I would say (although, if I said I had them now, I might as well buy a hot suit for when I go to hell, as that would be a big enough lie to make the bad guy shake in his boots ). I always bought those "must have" toys and whatnot, but I never really sought after anything to collect.

Although there are some things you might consider collections.
For one, I have a massive inventory of purses. I just have so many! And even so - I cannot help but buying one if I render it "cute". *shakes head*

Another thing would be my affinity for bracelets: especially those beaded ones. I have, just about, 2 of those jewelry boxes jammed with them. Things I buy from 1$ at local shops to 250$ (and it wasn't gold or anything -_-; ) at 5th Avenue.

Collections? Perhaps not seeing as how I use them without hesitation (perhaps I only use my more expensive stuff with care, as they cost more than I do ). Some people seem to think they are, though. Me? I just buy them because- well, I like them :O!

But recently, I got into this FF8 thing. Everything I see that relates with that game, I must have! If I don't, I get a panic attack *sigh*.

This recent insanity has made me stumble upon this, which I know is pricey for something that looks like those cheap plastic figures you get on top of a cake, but I want it, regardless... and what's even sadder is the fact that I know I'll end up bidding.

I'm sad... I know.

This one kid's dad is so obsessed with Star Wars that he actually believes he's a part of the whole thing. He collects Star Wars stuff like crazy and that's all he talks about. He even started crying when he was talking about the moment when he first saw Star Wars when he was a kid. Now, to me...that's kinda annoying and scary at the same time.
I saw that, it was crazy! The guy even made a homemade Light Saber, I think that's what he did anyway. I think the crying when he talks about his first time seeing Star Wars is a little too much.

swords are not an obssesion with me to the point that I am trying to carry one around or pretend i am a ninja. I actualy was taking a class on how to use one like stances and so forth and then I just started collecting them. Surprisingly trunks I got most of them at this in door flea market called gailbralters and sometimes if i catch a dealer with a replica or a fake sword and I point it out they will lower down the price so I don't say anything to other customers

So does that mean you can shoot with it? That would be awesome.

I own all the Gundam Wing Action Figures. I still play with them....seriously.... I've had to buy most of the figures 2-3 times because they came out with ones in gold which look a lot better then the yellow ones...and my nephews got a hold of them on a couple of occasions.

I collect video games. I've got every Final Fantasy game released in the US besides X and VIII. I'll probably buy XI when it lowers in price just to have it.

I collect music. I have every Metallica CD except Kill 'Em All and Garage Inc.

I have most of the Lord of the Ring figures. Though I won't own them all because I don't see the need to buy 4 different Frodos or any other character (Though I see the need to have at least 3 Ringwraiths).

Other things I have collected: G. I. Joes, Baseball Cards, Books, Jaks Wrestling Figures (My biggest collection), and lightsabers. I've got 5: Darth Maul's, Qui-Gon Jin's, Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker's and Mace Windu's. Not the replica's though those are at least $250.00 a piece and you can't cut anything with them.

So, yeah, I'm a big dork. What else am I going to spend my money on? On a date? Whatever....my Tallgeese III figure has given me more joy then any female or maybe.... ?

hey preventer if you build them to then hey we could build gundam wing model while listing to metallica and then later onto video games. Hey I would not actualy mind playing video games with a hot guy all night (that date would be cost free lol)
and besides video games are the greatest way to get closer to people

(on second thought maybe I am just a huge Geek )

Sounds like a good idea Tiger. If we ever disagree on a game to play we can have a lightsaber duel

If I had the money to collect things I certainly would. But im in the process of trying to buy an automobile that is atleast somewhat reliable.

Although I do have...well did have quite the collection of action figures. Spider Man, Ghost Busters, WWF wrestlers, X-Men, you name it i had it, and all the accesories to go with it.

Thats something ive always wanted to do. Theres a shop called Saphia's Botique of the Unusual (I think I spelled some of that right). This store is amazing. Shes got a good collection of very cool, very authentic looking swords. I dont know if they are authentic or not but one claims to have some relationship with the Movie The Lord of The Rings. The things she has in her shop are very cheap as well. She only wanted 200.00 dollars for the LOTR sword. And thier was a sick looking egyptian dagger for only 80.00 with a Marble plaque to hang it. On top of that shes got all kinds of witch craft trinkits that are pretty interesting. The shop owner herself is also quite interesting. Shes always there burning insence and listening to strange chanting . I dont know if shes for real or not but it certainly adds to the character of the shop itself . Its the only place I dont mind going when im broke, Its almost like a museum

Oh and this doesent really count as a collection but I have a Civil War Replica Pistol thats pretty high quality. But dont mention it to Preventer, he and that pistol are at odds
