Ok, this may be a daft question but, If I buy residentevil code veronia X, and practise at it, will it make me better for RE online?

I don't think so man, it could have different controll system, and it's best to learn that way to, but if you got the PS1 version, there is no difference between the PS2 version except better graphics and controll system.

I would say, yes. I would help alot. If you totally new to the controls, it would. The thing is like David said..... that the control system just might be different, but I havn't heard anything about it at all. The only time the Creator said about the control system to be changed was for "Resident Evil 4" on GameCube.

I think RE ONLINE would have the same control system, as Majority of people would be the ones who are BIG FANS of the series and those people would be more comfortable with the control systems which have been all these years (RE1 RE2 RE3 RE:CodeVX). And those people are like me.

So yeah Code Veronica X should help you out with the controls if you are new with it. So practice for the time being till Re Online comes out.!

According to the latest Famitsu, Resident Evil Outbreak will connect stories of RE 2 and 3. It is said there will be a research laboratory which was in the two episodes, but could not be entered. In the lab, there's a lot of medicine, secret research reports (which refer to earlier and current events.)
