Hey Hat Guy, I've never played it. I see it mentioned a lot so I guess I should. I think maybe Jimmy Patterson from MOH could be considered a classic down the road. Although I haven't played it yet, Dr. Muto reminds me of classic styles like oddworld and mario. https://www.drmuto.midway.com/ Just has a cool style about it.

Solid Snake..I'm not following the crowd though..I just love his character..so calm and cool. I wish I was like him
 Otherwise, some of my other favorite games are Sonic and Megaman/X. Zero from X from pretty bad also
