That's exactly what I'd like to do also. A part of me is so serious that everyone comes to me with their problems...they feel like I have none of my own and just pour everything down my throat and expect me to help them at all costs. I always try to help..I don't have any problems with that...but whenever I am unable to help, I'm sick of people giving me sh*t like I'm useless and all that crap.
If I couldn't change that part of me...then the one thing I'd like to change about myself is just not to be born at all.

That sounded more like the crap I use to say. Never again say something like that, miss Meryl. There's a reason for every single of us to have been born wether we like it or not. But I am sure that if had not been born this world would be a lot worse than it is now. I mean it. Actually I'm surprised you said such a thing about yourself.

I use to be at odds with life and myself. It's just a waste of time doing so...you can either be happy or sad it's your choice. In the end it takes exactly the same amount of time and energy to make yourself that way.

Yeah, a lot of people say that. But seriously now; it that the real truth ?

That's true in some cases; not in all of them. There are times in which ' sadness ' or ' happiness ' doesn't come to you in choice form.

you're missing the point entirely.

I'm speaking about life not a particular emotional event. Of course there are instances when emotions are powerful enough to make one sad or happy regardless of ones will. It's sad to just let events like this build up and drag someone down..thus leading to inevitable depression. Life is too short to be depressed.

What he means is that ultimately it is up to us if we want to be forever moaning losers or in the other hand look at the good things we have at life and take out from them the best we can. Even if we seem to be in the most desperate situations.

And about what I said....... if there is not a reason for us to have been born, then why the bloody hell did we? Just because yes? Then life , and the universe would be pointless themselves. Unless we're a freaking mistake and don't belong in the universe. But I don't think so. Well, more or less

EDIT: DigiMortal was posting at the same time as I was

I don't think so.

Life in itself is made up of emmotional moments. Whether it's a happy one or a sad one; angry or relaxed, they're all emmotions in their own respective way.

Depression is evitable; I'm not saying it isn't.
However, not everyone has a reason to smile, so to speak. There are times in which the build up is not really in ones hands, thus not allowing a ' happy-dandy ' life.

No one can speak for everyone in general, for not everyone is the same.

i agree everyone has a different level of tolerance, and that tolerance is established by the circumstances of multiple events in ones life. Although I still say it's much better to burnout then to fade away.

Mena has got a strong point regarding the fact that many people has been either gifted or has just got a lot of nice opportunities in life and very good luck overall. But then we have, people who actually take advantage of all this (what I'd call the wise ones) and then the others who don't (idiots for me )

Now, we have also got the ppl who hasn't been so lucky, and then there's also the "two kinds" the ones that let grief overcome them and just give up, and in the other hand, the ones that are either stubborn or just too strong minded.

Now, if you aske me what kind I am, I think I have been all of the ones I have mentioned. And to be honest to myself, I have been a fool more times than a wise guy.

However, I have just decided something simple: Stop being a pussy. Moaning and complaining about how a lonely *** I am ain't gonna bring me any solutions. I'm alone, no one likes me, so what, I don't give a s***, I'll just live my life the same way I've been up to now, doing my stuff and develop myself as a man, as best as I can.

I am quite aware that I have a lot of things that many people desire so much to have, but they don't, at the mean time I wish to have some other things many other people have but I do not...... but that's how life is, and if I let everything foc up my life, then I'm a loser.

I could not stand being called a "loser"

I'M A WINNER AND I OWN YOU ALL SUCKERS!!!!!

It's not a surprise to me that you're surprised by that, because you don't know me that well, so you wouldn't know why I said that.

Well, if you and Digi are saying the same thing, then I do agree with you, but I also agree with Mena, that life is made up of emotional events. She knows what I'm talking about and I know what she's talking about. However, Frozen and Digi, though some of us may look at the good things in life and try to be happy just from it, the main problem always comes back and it's not avoidable, so all those small things in life to make one happy becomes a little pointless...at times.

Actually, I don't really agree with you. A person is born with a mission in life? Yes, that's true, but like you said, what if that person was just a mistake to be born? I say this because I feel this way about myself for my own reasons. You guys might not understand me because I don't really talk about myself that much, so you'd probably have no idea why I say this or why I feel this way. But, I do.

It's quite sad that I really don't happen to know you then. *points at her*

At least I try to show you how I am in the best way possible, as with most of people I talk to, specially those I consider "closer" to me.

but you have already explained your reasons and I respect that.

And I know very well what Mena said, what do you think? But as I insist, you'll get nothing positive from just letting things screw up your life and make it forever miserable. Some of you know how have I been feeling lately, I know there's much worse things that could happen in one's life (as a fact, there's many other things I never talk to anyone that could be even worse) and as you have noticed, in those moments of sadness, I wanna give up and crap, but then later on I just think about it in cold blood and tell to myself "stop being a wuss".

Life is a thing to endure until it's end. And it will never be fair or perfect, always remember that. Up to you if you want it to be worse than it already is, fellas.

and the thing about being a mistake, Meryl..... it's another thing to discuss about, but I'll be brief:

Mistakes are those who were born to kill, rape, and decieve others.

Not those who have given counsel, cheered up, and brought happiness to others. And I don't think that someone who I admire, even if what I admire is just a minimal valure of that person, is a mistake.

You probably never will tell me why do you think so badly about yourself, but at least I'm trying to point out the good things about yourself, which I think are good enough characteristics to make a person special. I may be wrong, though.

It's not your fault, Frozen, that you don't know me that well....it's actually mine because I don't like to be open with that many people and tell them my problems. It's all due to past experiences, so I just decided to help people instead.

Once again, Frozen, I apologize to you...but there may be no way for you to understand what I really am or how I came to be this way. I can try to explain every horrible thing that went on in my life ever since I was a kid, but that's probably something best left in the dark. I have nothing against you, Frozen, it's just...my problems are too complicated to be properly handled.

I see what you're saying, Frozen, but some of us have no choice whether we want our lives to be more pleasant or make it more worse. Sometimes, when some of us try to look forward to the things in life that are good, it blows up in our face. Sometimes, when we try to look for the good, the bad things are always just a step behind to remind us we can't escape.

Thanks for the kind words, Frozen...though I don't think I did that much stuff to be admired by you or anyone else. In fact, I don't think I've done enough...but, anyways...sorry for all my boring ranting, I'm sure many people have fallen asleep by now , so I'll stop.

I didn't say what I said just "to say it" I said it because I mean it, believe it or not. But I guess it's no use to keep "insisting". Everyone has their own way of living their life and that must be respected, I guess.
