I don't do drugs and the legalization, if there will be one in the future, won't change my position. I'm not shocked by people who like drugs, in fact I've known some and I have nothing against them.

I've run into occasions where I've been pressured to do it...but i never did it. But who knows if i'll ever be as strong willed in the future...

I smoked it for a while in high school and college.. even now I'll take a couple of hits at a party or something, but it is for use in moderation. As Spank said, it's not addictive unless you're a weak-minded fool, and most "potheads" are just that.. What really pisses me off though is the petty, childish subculture it's created.. I see High Times magazine and that kind of crap and shake my head.

If you don't go overboard with it (smoking it every day) I do not think it really does all that much harm to you. All smoking of course does some harm to your lungs and such, but it is far less than some of these self-riteous people waging the "war against drugs" would think. When I was in high school there was all this D.A.R.E stuff that said "Smoking a cigarette will take a day off your life.. smoking a joint will take off a month".. And I think way too many people were pushed into thinking this way, and they refuse to believe that it is not true when they are told.

The government should really just straighten up, make it legal, and tax it like cigarettes. Poof, plenty of money for all. ..But then again, the pharmacutical companies would have a hissy over that one. Stack prozac up against cannabis and who do you think would win?

I haven't yet known someone who's life was ruined due to weed, but I'm sure thats possible. I doubt I'm addicted to it, however I enjoy doing it. Although lately I've really tried to not do it, you know?

It's possible to live a meaningful life and smoke,it depends on the person.Also weed is bad only if someone abuses it, like anything else in life.

i use weed. i use alcohol.

i dont abuse either though. i only use them on weekends and tahts just chillin with friends. hell i got stoned and drunk last night. its just my idea of havin a good time. im not addicted i can stop doin it whenever i want and i have no urge to do it. i do it cause i feel like it. simple

Everyone is intitled to thier opinion, as long as they DON'T TRY TO FORCE THAT OPINION ON OTHERS! Somebody is against the use of drugs and alchohol, fine. Don't use them, but don't preach to the people who do use them like you were somehow better.

...and I'm not even going to comment on liberal versus conservative bullshit on this forum. I discuss that more than enough in my life, thank you very much.

I've never done any sort of drug before, nor have I ever seen anyone else do any either.

I also don't drink or smoke. And like many here, I never will.

Of coarse, if you ask anyone who knows who I am, they would swear on their mothers grave that I am the biggest pot head in the world, along with a heavy alcoholic, but I'm not. I just act really wierd.

Because, believe it or not Andi, this is a discussion forum. The basic premise behind discussion is that people have, and should vocalise, differing opinions to your own.

If everyone thought exactly the same, things would get pretty boring - much like your posts are.

Do me and the rest of the forumers here at PS2Fantasy... post something worth reading rather than criticising people's posts if they don't agree with you.

Dr. Pepper, is an excellent beverage, I believe i mentioned it on a recent poll here between Pepsi and Coke... If only I could somehow have it fed intravenously to my neck at will.

Anyway, what Qjij said was right. It is interesting to see the different viewpoints of users and non-users. Everything, or most things, they say are copletely different. They contrast each other in so many ways.

I've already said that I haven't or won't ever do drugs, and I abide by it.
Unfortunately, I have had the unpleasant experience of knowing someone who did in fact use drugs. He was a good friend of mine.
I had known him for a long time and he would always be competing against me. It would be like, if I got an A, he would get an A+. He was a very smart person, always full of life, energy and ideas. Yet, there was the time when he began playing with drugs. Soon after, he got completely addicted. It's really very sad. He lost all he had and he has even been in jail a couple of times. All this and he is only soon to be 17...

So I can say and prove that drugs do in fact have the possibility to ruins people's lifes...Oh yeah, and one of those drugs did happen to be weed...
