Wow! I just noticed the date.. today is exactly one year since I joined this site!! Its my ps2 one year anniversary!! yay!*speech speech speech*
I'm glad I stumbled across this site a year ago, I have really enjoyed being a member so far and hope there's many more years to come. There's a real lot of good people here and a close, family feeling that you dont get on alot of sites!

Who would you like to be?
It's a matter of fact we often are envious of other people and sometimes we find ourseves saying "How I'd like to be X!" or "I'd give anything to be like Y!". It doesn't n ecessarily mean you're not satisfied, but sometimes it's kinda natural to think we'd like to have something others own (talent, intelligence, money, whatever...) or to be like someone else.

If that happened to you at least once... who would you like to be and why?

and don't forget:

Just want to hear your opinion: is it right to censor anything, in music, movies, videogames and so on, is it good that an organization, a distributor or whatever is doing it for the "audience's sake", for preventing people to learn or get used to, for example, violence, or everyone should be free to decide? Do you think censorship in some cases is necessary or does it only ruin the product, being this product artistic or not? Is the censorship we have at this moment enough or is it the evidence censoring is not a solution to save categories that are more influenced or at risk (like for exaple children)?

And more personal question: do you like when you buy a game or you go to see a movie and you know from the beginning some parts of it have been censored?

I am very happy with my award and it is standing on my mantle...wait.. hey I didnt get it.. are u keeping my award... GIVE IT!!

I would like to return the favour and give an award to the man with the longest posts and who seems to always stray off the subject... who could it be.. lets see him in action..This is in the "Where do you work and how do you like it" Thread.

Presently, I work at a Nursing home. I do all kinds of things that include (but are not limited to) transporting the patients back and forth from their rooms to acitivities, helping to run these activities, serve them food, act as an extra pair of eyes to make sure all is well with everybody as I move through the halls from place to place and alert nurses to their needs when necessary, talk to them individually in order to try to cheer them up or provide company either outside of or in their rooms, room visits to specific patients, and helping to keep a generally happy atmospher for them Man, let me tell you. If it weren't for the fact that I find helping people to be rewarding at the end of the day and I believe it to be one of my callings in life, I would just plain be depressed going there. But because I enjoy people in general and I enjoy helping them and even enjoy the challenge, I enjoy my job greatly. I am lucky in that sense. My goal is to someday pursue a career in writing, but while I wait for that to happen this is exactly the type of thing that will keep me on track in life.

May I point out here where he strays off....

I have had some interesting thoughts on what it means to become old and what it would be like to be one of these people that I assist in taking care of mostly by helping to brighten their day...what it would mean to lose one's own dignity and/or memories and/or coherence and have all the loneliness any number of things that come with old age. I haven't made sense of it, yet, but I try every day to learn something new about it.
