Help!
I've bought the One Piece RPG for Gameboy Advance, but I can't read a single line of the dialogues, since it's all written in Japanese
Do you know any site that has the transcriptions for these Japanese anime games that are not released in Western countries? |

I have that game too, but couldn't find a transcription when I needed it (just after the Japanese release, so...). I haven't looked for it lately, so I don't know if there are any. At that time there wasn't a walkthrough either

Yeah, gamefaqs usually have walkthroughs of imported games (like the Rurouni Kenshin RPG), so you don't have to worry too much.

Gamefaqs has the walkthrough, as the others said, but if you look for scripts or dialogues transcriptions, you'll have many difficulties. Maybe at some OP site you'll find it.

Yes, more than a walkthrough I was looking for transcription of the story and dialogues. But the walkthrough is useful for items and such things, so thanks anyway!

True, but I don't get too exited about games sometimes...if the game was in a language i wouldnt understand, then I would had probably searched for another one, if I wouldnt find it, then i would stick with it. Its like buyign the FFX-2 japanese released instead of waiting for the american release, i would still stick to the japanese release i bought.
But lets say i bought some, other RPG like Xenosaga, and it was in japanese, I would had probably gotten another RPG like .Hack or something. Im not blaming her for taking the RPG (i heard it was fairly good). |

One thing is talking about games that are still to be released in your language, and another talking about games that are never going to be released outside Japan. Which is the case of the game I'm talking about. I wanted to play this game, knowing it was in only in Japanese, because I knew from the beginning I'll never see an English version of it. But I hoped to find a translation somewhere, since it often happens to have these games translated by fans. At least, for some anime game I haven't played, there are many translations around the web. Probably this is not the case, because the game is not so popular even among fans, because it is still relatively new, or I don't know.

In fact, I have my reasons! I wouldn't buy a game only because it's going to be released in some other country before, especially if I'm unable to read and understand. I usually wait and I have no problems with it. It's just that this One Piece game looked so good from the screenshots, and I like One Piece a lot. It's a funny series to watch, and the story is good, the characters' design excellent. I thought it was a cool idea to try for once a game based on this anime, since I've never really tried anything exclusively because it was based on some anime series I like. Well, the game is cool, but I'd like to understand the storya little better, that's all
