Frustration with GTA2
OK i have GTA2 for PS1 and when I got to do the Scientists red taxi mission in the second area of the game the PS always freezes if I turn left in the taxi - does anybody else have this problem - the disc is in mint condition as well like all my other games.

1 - Its not a disc error: no scratches or marks or anything i luv that game so i keep it perfect
2 - Disc Doctor has been known to do more harm than it helps 3 - I even got my PS2 checked out today just to make sure and everythings fine. 4 - So if everythings fine with everything else any more suggestions.

Buy a new copy, sounds like a glitch in the game itself, nothing wrong with your system.

Lets get one thing straight - I DID NOT LEAVE!!!
Or else I would not be posting this message. So dont worry. Im still around but not as much. You dont think Id leave completley do you? And to answer the question asked by azuma - no im not having any trouble with the game since I sold it and bought the PC version instead. So no problem anymore.

Good to see you back, TUK, i had noticed on a post in another thread that you seemed a little frustrated, possibly enough to at least temporarily take off, so that is where i came up with my statement. Nice to see you back, certainly!!

OK, I just happened to be browsing when I saw this topic and I know this is probably months late but I would just like to say I also experienced problems with the GTA2 game on the PS1/X (playing on either ps1/x or ps2) where it just froze for no reason. It wasnt scratyched, no dust, no nothing just fioze I think it must be just like a glitch that you get in these games. Hope this helps...
