Well This Is A Simple But Still A Surprising News That The Matrix Is Going To Have A 2nd And Even A 3rd Sequal, But Later, They Have Already Started Writing Scripts For MATRIX 4, 5 And Even 6.

I Mean Can U Believe That. Dont U Think That Is Too Much, But I Think A Movie This Good Deserve All This!.!

It Wont Be The First Movie Though, To Have A 4, 5, And 6 Sequals.

But Lets See How The 2nd And The 3rd Does On The Box Office!.!

I Am Excited About It Anyway....>Cause The Matrix Is One Of The Most Amazing Movie I Have Ever Seen!.! IMO!.!

The Matrix was good, but it wasn't "blow your mind away" good. Well, at least to me. I'm surprise that they're going to carry it that far, though. I mean.....how far can you take this film, anyway?

Damnit! The first movie had a great story (imo), but turning it into anything past a 2nd sequel will just be butchering it! Argh.. I hate little hollywood cash hobgoblins who run around doing this kind of crap. "Oh, this movie made a whole load of money.. lets milk it for everything it's worth until everyone is sickened by the sight of it!"

It's not a matter of wether the story is good enough to warrant that many movies (the ultimate liberation of mankind from a race of dominating machines.. a backstory that could be worked for good movies up to 4 or something) But you just know that nobody's going to be interested in making the story good. They'll be interested in money and pretty freaking pictures. And I'll bet you dollars to donuts that they wouldn't even be able to cast any of the origional actors past 2, so the stories past that would either be about Neo's also-the-chosen-one cousin, or we'd have awful secondhand actors playing the parts.

Ok I Dont Know...............But I Really Dont Like StarWars... And All Its Saga. Its Alright, But Not Soo Mind Blowing That THEY Have To Keep On Making Movies On IT!.!

And In My Opinion Matrix Was A Movie, Which Didn't Really Improve On Any Other Old Elements But Pioneered In Its Own Stylish Way. Cause AFTER "The Matrix" HOLLYWOOD Action Movies Have Totally Changed.............All Of Em Try To COPY The Matrix Style Action And All!

And The Director Said That...........The MATRIX 2 And 3 Wont Have The SAME Old Action Which They HAD In The Matrix But Will Be Totally Something New To The Naked Eye!.!

Innovative........Thats All I Would Say The Directors Are!.! Which I LOVE!!!!

The main difference is that George Lucas created the saga from the beginning, in fact he started from Episode IV. First the saga, then the movies, which is the opposite thing they're planning to do with The Matrix and also it's the oppsite thing the usually do with successful movies.

No, I'm not saying it won't do well, I'm saying it's not part of a larger and organic project, so it's only a commercial strategy, while for Star Wars it was different, especially considering that when the first Star Wars movie came out back in the 70s, not many producers thought it was a good idea to make a sci-fi movie while the mainstream preferred completely different genres.

Thats hollywood for ya. They`re trying to milk out as much money from the matrix as possible.
I cant wait for the matrix 2, but I have a feeling that the later ones like matrix 4,5, and 6 wont do as well.
They might run out of ideas, or the audiences will just get bored of the series.
But who knows, lets see how far they`ll actually take it.

Why can't they let the Matrix die off? i haven't liked it that much since the first movie. I think only die-hard fans are gonna waste their money on these movies.

I thought the first Matrix was pretty good and I'm interested in seeing what the 2nd one is like, but IMO I think it is really to soon to be starting to make more sequels of the Matrix, if they don't really know how well this next one will do

The second and third sequels should be moderately good, but I think extending it 3 more sequels after that wouldn't be such a smart move, in my opinion. The series might get outdated and boring.
