Saddest Day In Gaming history...
For me... its about to be today or tommorow... i have over 30 original NES games including some rare classics... and times have unfortunately fallen so hard that i now have to sell said classics as well as the top loader system and all the other gadgets i have for it.... *sigh* indeed a horrible day for any gamer to have to say goodbye to a prized possession....
rather than this just be a thread about me complaining about having to try and find horrible ways to pay the rent, i figured everyone could give their saddest moment or most upsetting moment in gaming history... so.. grab the kleenex's and try not to cry and write your worst moments in gaming history.

I'm sorry to hear that Cory, nasty to have to sell something you don't want to because of money problems wether it be games or something else...
Saddest moment in gaming history is hard to tell, probably not so much sad but more frustrating...the lack (or lag) of some gamereleases in europe, especially japanese fighting games that get no release or a stripped release...

When I was a kid, I was 7 or 8, one day a friend of mine broke my Gameboy. It was my one and only console at the time, I had a very hard time to get it and I had to ask my parents for months, and after that I knew it was not going to be replaced for a looong time

Ooh Ooh I have one...
When I was 13, we were moving from Abu Dhabi (A city in U.A.E), to Dubai (Another City in U.A.E)...I use to keep all my toys, cars, figures and video games in this ONE BIG BOX! When moving, that box was the only thing left, my dad was going to come back to our old house one last time to see if there is anything left, ...while we were all away to the new city, some old lady came into the house and took (stole) the box...with my 15 plus Sega Genesis games, Nintendo Games, and Ninja Turtles Figures (About 25 of them)... with the rest of my childhood toys and all. I cried that day... ALOT!!!!!!!...and then my dad gave me $1000 so I would stop crying. I did stop after that but I dont forget that day. May be thats why I dont TRADE or GIVE AWAY any of my games/figures anymore. Am sorry to hear about your ongoing gaming tragedy though.

lets see if I can come up with a few:
2005: EVERYTHING STOLEN! about 50+ PS2 games and 20+ PS1 games along with my PS2 to play em all on! I don't even wanna talk about how long it took to build up that library of games. To make matters worse... the thieves stole some other valuables from that apartment. It was time to move out of that shithole anyway. 2002: I take my Super Nintendo along with my game collection over to my gf's dorm. We break up like a week later. I never see any of it again! 2008: I bought Stuntman Ignition only to find out its the single most worse game purchase I've ever made. 2004: Silent Hill 4: The Room... need I say more? You are trapped in a friggin room and you can't leave unless you are willing to deal with crappy and boring gameplay only to end up back in your friggin room anyway! 2003: The ending for Silent Hill 3... i mean what an awesome game... until you beat it and practically nothing happens! So if I play through it again will I get a slightly better ending? blah! 2004: Driver 3... what a debacle of a game... ruined the series... and then they had the audacity to make another one... which was worse! I tried so hard to like this game I was borderline delusional. 2006: Need For Speed: Most Wanted How about let's take everything that was finally honed to perfection about the driving mechanics in Underground 2 and throw them out of the window? Well that's exactly what EA did. From what I hear Carbon went even further down hill. I played a Pro Street demo which looked and felt promising, though. That will be my next purchase very likely. 2007: FF12... what a disappointment for me. Nothing like what I was hoping for. Anybody want it for 20 bucks? RED

Im grateful for not having been ripped off, i still have several expensive games that are valuable. But since i own my home free and clear rent is never a prob. Wish you the best, guy, and hope life gets on track better for you. I still have most of my systems all the way back to NES and the memories and joy they bring are immeasurable....
