Damn! Indy loses his old man!
Sean Connery refused to make the new Indy movie! And the you know what the reason is? HE'S RETIRED FROM ACTING!!! WTF?!? What kind of reason is that?! He said retirement "is just too damned much fun". What's with this man? Hey, we're talking about one of the greatest adventure on film of all times!
What's going to happen now? Another 2 years to re-write the story? A change of actor? That would be ridiculous! Please, let's sign a petition to have Connery make the movie! Or let's hope George and Steven will find a DECENT solution!

Are they sure he's not going to do it? Maybe he can still change his mind

Indiana Jones is a kind of movie that was magic in the time it came out, nowadays a modern version will only disappoint me. It can never recapture the feeling of watching The temple of doom in a theatre on some birthday party with friends from school. Allthough it might offer the same experience to young kids nowadays...

Hey, Sean Connery's an old dude. Let the man retire and do his thing. I think he has every right.

The picture of Indy on the set made me very happy. It pressed the inner-child joy button. He doesn't look much older than 1989!

But it would have been better for him to end a stellar career with a great cult movie! At least, i think! |
