Not surprised, Nintendo always delays their most anticipated titles.

If it's delayed, is there a possibility that it may launch on the new Nintendo?
Anyway, I don't like this move. By delaying the launch till (approximately) the end of the next fiscal year (which is some time in March, no?), Nintendo is left without any major title release for the holidays, which are some of the best buying days. I don't know. At least-hopefully-this delay will truly result in a bigger, better Zelda. |

how was the n64 a letdown? n64 had great games, goldeneye, perfect dark, donkey kong 64, starfox 64, zelda ocarina of time, majora's mask, mario 64, smash bros, pokemon stadium, and a few other games that were beyond good, just because the playstation did better doesnt mean the n64 was a letdown

I don't know. I thought N64 was okay. Even though I only owned about 5 to 7 games. Lets see, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Zelda: OoT and Majora's Mask, Star Fox... yea, 5 games (better than GC that's for sure.) What made Nintendo a let down for me was the back to back release of kiddy/family games. Keep in mind I don't mind them, I just don't play them. (Not my type of games) The Mario Parties, Smash Brothers.... "shrugs" I am tired of mario. Even though he's pretty much the heart of Nintendo.... I'm just tired of seeing his face. I wish he would shroud in a corner and die. When gamecube came out.... bleh, I could tell from the start it would be a let down. It looked too crappish for my taste. And then we have another round of Mario, Pokemon and some other family/kiddy titles that I don't care to mention. Now I know they want to give children a treat and such, but that's too much IMO. And now for the new Zelda.... I was very excited to see a more mature game such as this for the game cube. (For those who're gonna tell me to buy the game cube for Resident Evil and Metroid Prime.... poo on you cuz I don't care for those games either .) And now to here that it's been set back to 06... >_>. Thanks Nintendo. Thanks for giving me another reason to not buy a game cube.

No more money for Nintendo, its actually a great thing to be able to say, to have the freedom of knowing i wont waste any more money on their products!!! Wont ever buy M$ either....... so it will be a while, but Ps2 and PsP are all anyone really wants nowadays anyways....

Gamecube is suffering the same fate. It just doesn't have enough quality titles to warrant a purchase, and the only reason I have one is because I bought it off a friend that needed the money. I'm going to trade it in once the 360 comes out. |

Eh, if it means bigger and better gameplay with no bugs I'm fine with it.

BTW: The main reason for the bump was because I have a question! Is it true that this is going to be the last Zelda game?! Oh, I of the mourning... |

nintendo will never stop making zelda games. Miyamoto already said they're planning to release Zelda on the Revo and the DS.
