Not long left now.

I heard there's a leaked version available and they're trying like madman to get someone to sue there ass.
Here's something I found about it... Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software are aware that an illegally obtained version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and images from the game and manual have been posted to various Internet sites. The proper authorities are investigating the theft and are continuing to investigate all possible leads to ensure there is no further dissemination of our creative content. Downloading, possession and distribution of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, including making the game available on the Internet, is theft. We take the theft of our intellectual property very seriously and we are and will continue to diligently and aggressively pursue this matter. If anyone finds information on websites with links to unauthorized downloads, information, scans or videos, please contact us at... m The launch date of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas remains the same. The game will be on store shelves in North America on October 26 and in Europe on October 29." The source is unknown( got it from a dutch BB-forum).

Something Better Happen!
This time two years ago nearly this forum was smoking, I mean literally post after post bomb barded with people enjoying VC, ATM this forum is a morgue and no one getting excited or anticipating the game we’ve so long been waiting, I hope some familiar faces come back to this forum, new members or such to make the GTA forum what is once was and why I enjoyed it so much here.

Another thought for the reason why not many people are on here is probably because the hype for SA isn't as wild as VC? I mean, there are a lot of people who are anticipating this game so much, but considering that a lot of information has already been revealed on what CJ can and cannot do and what SA is all about, maybe the "thrill" has just disappeared because everyone knows? or VC's hype was much greater because it was a such a drastic change from GTA3. Vercetti was able to do so much more things than the "Nameless" guy. So, that's probably where all the anticipation came from. As for CJ, we all know he'll be improved but it's not the same as "No name guy" from GTA3 to an actual character like "Tommy Vercetti." Have I confused you? I hope not.

No, You haven’t confused me, but your explanation writes it out in black and white, VC was completely different to GTA 3 and a whole new experience, i'm anticipating SA as much as VC but..... The character Tommy Vercetti was awesome from the no named thug who couldn't talk, ride bikes or buy assets etc etc. I really thought SA would bring home the bacon with all members posting, maybe I might be being paranoid and all the posts will flow this week and next week and the future when Sand Andreas is out with people asking for mission help or I found this secret!

I completly agree. I didn`t like the Idea of changing the main character of the game, we all Loved Tommy and so.. we are afraid of the new character or something like that!! ,
about me, I loved Tomb Raider for example because of Lara ofcourse.. so if they released anew character as a Tomb Raider new character I simply won`t buy the game , but I Loved Tommy (30%), but the game style ofcourse (70%) , that`s why I`ll buy the game BUT with 70% saticfied and 30% worried (I hope youve got the point )

Sinful new GTA: San Andreas trailer revealed
Explicit lyrics, parachutes featured in new GTA: San Andreas trailer; official site also updated with info on Las Vegas-style city. With the release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas merely a week away, Rockstar Games has updated the game's official Web site to include lots of new information on Las Venturas, a desert city inspired by Las Vegas. The site features information on landmarks and other places of interest in the city, which, in GTA tradition, are clearly based on real-world locations--but injected with plenty of biting irony. In addition, a brand new trailer for the game has been released, and GameSpot's got it. Featuring some of the dialogue, cutscenes, and action from the full game, the trailer also reveals some surprising, new gameplay elements, such as the ability to bail out of airplanes by parachute. Notably, the trailer is set to the thumping beat of 2Pac's "I Don't Give F***." The song is uncensored in the trailer, much like it will be in the game--as such, parental discretion is advised before viewing. This latest trailer is available:https://download.gamespot.com/d4/free...railer3_qt.zip This will be ******* awesome!
