I don't have to much respect for rappers. A lot of them use sampled music tracks.....give me a real musician anyday. I can't take someone too seriously when they use words like "aight" or "peace out". Its all a silly poseur routine. Here's a little rhyme for you all....Yo Yo Yo! Rap must go!

I understand you dont like rap but rap isnt as easy as what you think saying 3 sentences that rhyme isnt rap. You need to be more open minded about others opinions and if you dont like what you hear just leave it alone.
It doesnt have to be ryhmes just like you said, but its easy to come up with a beat and then sing that sentence to it.You have to try it.How bout this to convince you.I'll come up with some lyrics and i'll record a drum beat and rap to it.Oh yeah Sleazy nice little line there!~

I suggest you get off his back about it. Until you've put years into learning to play an instrument you can't understand the work involved.

and i suggest that you dont bash rap when u prolly kno nothing about it. rapping takes skill, speically when ur rapping bout real stuff. when snake talks bout rapping it just sounds like he just makes up a bunch of crap. rappers like 2pac rapped bout real stuff, they spent time and effort to make these tunes and get it right. they had to live thro the stuff they rapped bout. learning a guitar is hard? try livin in the streets and gainin all those experiences and then rap bout them

You actually think they all came up from the streets ha dont make me laugh.I know half of them didnt have it that bad.And what i meant about the lyrics and not being real i was talking about the majority of the rap artists out sing about nothing but filth.I don't have as much problem with 2pac as some artists. And dont tell me i dont know what im talking about.I know more than you think about rap because i used to listen to the stuff which i regret now and the stuff i did listen was bad nothing logical was said in my opinion.

I don't believe some manufactured rapper from a major label is really "from da hood". The music industry is too packaged to sell nowadays. And aren't 2pac and Sir Mix a Lot lovers? I think 2pac had a songwriting credit for "Big Butts"

Rap, there is really nothing to it. 95% of the songs are about guns, fighting, and abusing their girls. There are few songs that have good lyrics. I can't see how they compare rap to rock. Members of rock bands have to take a lot of time to practice their instruments. Some also do vocals like James Hetfield and Chad Kroger. They have talent and they work hard to keep it in practice. Rap only consists of writing. They spend hours working on rhymes. I think anyone can do that if wanted to. Rock is simply better. Rock consists of writing and playing. The sound, rhythm, and lyrics all have better quality.

Why start a thread about him then? You know that members will express their opinions. If they don't like him, they'll say it.

Although I personally hate rap, I think that this has to cool down a little. One thing leads to another and then people get mad. Flaming starts. Let's try and have a debate here instead of arguments. Don't start telling people what not to do. Not everyone has the same beliefs.

theres a line tween expressing your opinion and making fun of someone. two differen things. i started this thread to see who else liked him. not to get this heated argument started but whatever here we r.

You know why the beat is tighter because its not played through instruments in most cases its computer generated.Dj's will play it through in concert, and thats not tough.Rock beats are much more complicated because there random and done by the person.Check lars ulrich from metallica to here some awesome drum work.
