hey whats the most aggitating thing that has happened to you or you have done in any game what moment made you feel like the worlds biggest idiot , something you relized a little to late or made you laugh and cry



I cannot think of one for myself at the moment but i can definitely think of one i have seen but i will let that person decide weither or not they want to share. lol

hmm, ok. How about this: in Kingdom Hearts' Traverse Town, I ran around a heartless infected suburb for about 1 and a half hours, trying to work out what it was that I was supposed to do. I was pretty frustrated when I walked back through the door I came in through at the beginning of it all, and the story picked up again.

Also, recently I got to the end of System Shock, and sweared a lot when I couldn't kill SHODAN - a cyberspace battle that ends in defeat if SHODAN's face fills the screen before you kill her. Looking for some tips as to what I should do (and I tried everything to see if I could hit the "fire" button that little bit faster), I found out that the "fill" effect was supposed to happen in about 25 seconds, instead of the 5 I was getting. Because my PC was too good for the game (well SShock1 IS 10 years old), it was running the final battle too fast for it to be humanly possible for me to complete it! I eventually found a way round that though: I played it in a higher resolution (was super-blocky 320x200. You spend £300 on a new GFX card, and you don't even use it). That did mean that the mouse cursor was stuck in the upper-left of the screen though...

I was playing GTA:VC, and was working on all the missions. I hadn't saved for a while, so the game froze. i had to repeat about 15 missions agian... which wasn't too bad, being a great GTA player... but it did have me pissed for quite a while.

My story comes from Kingdom Hearts as well. I'm sure people who played the game remember the boss battle in which you face the dragon Maleficient. In my opinion, this is the hardest battle in the game, especially since the dragon cheats with its flame attack and continuously spins its tail. It took me 6 tries to figure out how to get close to his one and only vulnerable point: his mouth, where the extremely damaging flame comes from. I think on my 8 try, I finally beat him, but at after that I was just too tired to continue with the story, and just turned of my PS2.

Even Ansem wasn't this hard!

Mine would have to be in halo... I had a very rude awakening..> i am the supreme champ around my area... and even surrounding cities and such... I can count on one hand the people who have beaten me.....
Then i went on xbconnect and let me tell you there are some sick fucks out there... I get butchered all the goddamn time... sorry if i sound obscene but it really pisses me off.. i am not use to losing so horribly! But how i became this good was getting my ass kicked... i am gradually getting better and am not losing all the time or by such wide margins.. so by the end of january i should be back into feeling good about myself...

But yeah.. on topic; The worst is when i went online and played halo for the first time... damn you trkkill3r... rot in hell!

Aww lord here it goes. Im really embarassed about this. I was playin Tekken 4 for a while to the point where I thought I was really good. I had mastered most of the moves in some of the players so I asked my dad (thinking I could beat him easily) to play with me in versus mode. So we did and lets just say I only won one game out of ten. I didnt know what happened. He just kept on beating me no matter how hard I tried. It kept pissin me off too and I tried to use that anger to win but that didnt work either. I guess that means its back to training.

for those of you who have played dynasty warrior i am sure you have heard of the extremely arrogant Lu Bu who is the most feared general in the whole game well neomarik plays with this character and he at some points acts just as arrogant . well he was playing one day at my house he was trying to get
2000 kills i think he was at 1103 ok he was down to his last hit you could no longer see his health it was that bad so in the distance looking like a gift from the heavens was a meat bun (health) so the ever proud LU Bu goes running toward it. He was in the zone right there not but 1/2 inch away when WHAM!!!!!
got nailed in the back by an unseen archer and to add salt on the wound because he did not save his progress and had to start over his dead body landed on the meat bun (health) and it floated above him along with the words Lu Bu Slain in bright red letter i can honestly say i never laughed so hard in my life

A similar thing happened to me once but it was just after I'd been trying to complete this one mission and it took me about 3 days, when I finally completed it the damn game froze! I was about 5 seconds away from saving the game!!! I was Fuming!

I had been starting a new GTA3 for about 3 hours non-stop without saving and Id just got to the second set of Asuka missions when... POWER CUT

The most furiating time that i had was when i was playing FF7, and my stepdad erased my game RIGHT before i had beaten the game so that he could make a new team for his football game. 75 hours of my life down the drain, cuz i had to start ALL over....

Why didn't you save dude??! Every gamer knows to save FF game data before boss battles.

I think he saved, but his dad erased the saved data( correct me if I'm wrong deathwatch).

The game was ffx and I was fighting Braska's Final aeon. I got him down to one hit. So, I used the allmighty holy to finish him off. Well... at least I tried. To my surprise I accidentally had the arrow on one of my characters.... and the character with the highest HP at that. So of course he dies, leaving it with my two weakest characters. It was his turn and he killed me in one blow. Nearly broke my PS2 after that...

Because of that I put down FFX for two weeks.

thats what happened. right before i beat the game, i had to save it and go to school, but when i had gotten home, he had erased my game off the memory card to make room for the football game. thats why i had to start over, thx for clearing it up beserker
