Osamu Tezuka

Could anybody suggest me some works by this great and legendary Japanese mangaka? I'd really like to get closer to some of his stories and creations, but I need suggestions because I don't know where to start!

I don't know, it's the same... but I've watched Metropolis in the meantime and I liked it a lot! I think I've heard it's from one of Tezuka's mangas, but since he's dead he couldn't take care of the movie. I would like to read the manga, but those things are rare to find!

Yeah, they're pretty rare. Only way you can get them is buying them online, but most copies you'll be able to find are in Japanese without any translation

I used to live near a comics shop, so at that time I could read some various stuff that is almost impossible to find where I am living now.
