Lara Croft: The Cradle of Life

Better than LXG

If you liked the first Tomb Raider, then wait to watch it on cable.

If you did not like the first Tomb Raider movie, don't even bother.

And I liked the first TR better.

Well, Angelina looks just awsome, but don't expect this movie to be better than the first one, at all.

Hm...i never liked TR at all, and the first movie sucked. Soo many mistakes that i noticed in 20 minutes period. Tch..i dont care about the second one, Angelina Jolie is kinda hot...no just ok looking, shes not the best female looking female out there.

It seems that te Blindman can see. Angelina has all chest - that's about the only appealing part of her.

In any event, I saw Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, and I thought it was better than the first.

The first Tomb Raider movie was not a good movie at all. It did not live up to the expectations of the games and thats what I generally tend to find in movies that spring from games. However, from what I've heard TR2 TCOL is supposed to be a much better movie all round. Can't be any better than T3 though. Even thats not good enough - but anyways... its only bearable to me becasue I tend to like action movies more.

Dunno about that.

Well.. LXG was a worthless film without any angelina in a body suit or angelina nipplage. So it was better.

Other than tastey shots of Ms. Croft herself, though, this movie is an absolute waste of money.

the only thing that even remotely interests me about this movie, is that the makers blamed the crapness of the Game on a bad opening weekend for the movie.

Quote:
Source = www.tombnews.com
"The Cradle of Life," the second film based on games heroine Lara Croft, opened in fourth place at the U.S. box office last weekend with sales of $21.8 million, well below the opening weekend of 2001's "Tomb Raider."

Paramount executives blamed an over-abundance of sequels this summer, but also pointed to "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness," the latest game in the franchise from Britain's Eidos

"The only thing we can attribute that to is that the gamers were not happy with the latest version of the 'Tomb Raider' video game, which is our core audience," Paramount distribution president Wayne Lewellen said.
Quite why Chris Barrie associates himself with the movies is beyond me. Perhaps its because he's so desperately trying to find recogniton as anyone without a "H" on his head that he'll play any part. The Tit.

I don't know, I thought the first movie was actually pretty good. The again I haven't comparatively seen many movies anyway, let alone in the theaters. I still have yet to see the movie, I'm hoping to get to see it in theaters but it seems unlikely.
