To be the strongest, you gotta train to be the strongest. It's prbably you didn't use Tidus much, or you change weopon. Stick with his brotherhood sword because some how it gain these cool abilities.

I kind of agree.
In my game both Wakka and Auron were much physically stronger both attack wise and HP. Obviously Lulu and Yuna were much better with Magic.... Tidus was just.... ordinary... He did not excell at anything. He was pretty much an all-rounder - merely good at everything rather than excelling at any one or two things. This may have had something to do with the way I developed Tidus. I definitely planned for Auron and Wakka to be more physical, and Yuna/Lulu to be more spiritual. As a consequence I found much more indecision when it came to developing Tidus - which means I was more broad in choosing which sphere's to activate. Whilst this illustrates one of the strengths of the Sphere system, I think it also illustrates one of it weaknesses - it's very easy to develop bland, non-useful characters (from a battle point of view). In my game is was not so much of 'Kimarhi' but more of 'Kima-who?'... - S

Wakka and Titus is the strongest...
I have Wakka at 255 strength as well as Titus... They are the strongest of them all due to their Overdrives. It would take months upon months to get Lulus overdrive to that level. |

In my second gam,e Tidus got just as strong or stronger thqan Auron after I beat the Blitzball tournament. You get a strength sphere afterwards.

weak... not really, his attacks do have a certain speed about them, and he's not exactly the least useful in the part (that'd probably be Rikku... probably). If the question was "Is Tidus irritating" though...

In my game Tidus was one of my strongest characters, I also like it that he is quite speedy as well so he can get a few more attacks in before the enemy does.

Depends who you use the most, my Tidus was weak because I used Auron more often that him, because Auron has more Strength than Tidus at the start. But Auron is slow and cant hit flying/fast enemies, so Tidus or Wakka would take care of them..
And Kimahri, you really dont need to use him much, when you fight against the 2 Rhonso in Gadgazet, their HP is dependant on Kimahris, so you dont need to be at a cettain level, and the two Rhonso were surprisingly easy for being so far on in the game. Best Party though is Auron, Wakka and LuLu/Tidus. I hardly used Yuna, because summonings took so long to load up lol, and Rikku was just crap. |

Auron was always a factor in my battles, I mostly focused on developing him more than the others...and it sure did pay off in the end.

For all of you that believe Rikku is crap, I guess then you do not know of the mix combo 'Trio of 9999'....
When this mix is used, all frontline party's actions deal 9999 damage for duration of one battle. Potions used by characters under the Trio of 9999 effect would heal 9999 HP instead of usual 200, Pray special would heal all for 9999 and so on! Basically you mix 2 'Door to Tomorrow's' to get this effect. So Rikku may be more useful than a lot of you believe! - S

I tried to use every single character in evcery battle. The only one I wasn't able to use all of them was the battle with the thing that attacked two adjacent characters I had to use just Tidus, Auron, and Yuna

My best party was always Tidus, Auron, Yuna.
They all had their best weapons. I leveled them up with a level up trick. :O |

I've heard of an AP trick, but it's not that good. You're supposed to give the person you want to get AP to learn loner and give them a weapon with triple or Double Overdrive, Triple or Double AP, and Overdrive to AP. Also to equip them with armor that gives them some sort of elemental absorption or cancel ability and fight a flan in the monster arena of that element, or some other enemy that only attacks with an elemental attack. Get into a battle and make the other two members escape while the one who's to get the AP defends, repeat for a while and then defeat the enemy. It takes more than an hour; your best bet is to get a rapid fire controller, cast haste on thew character, then slow on the enmy and tape the triangle button down. I don't have a rapid fire controller so I was sitting there for 15 minutes before I defeated it and got as much AP as I could have got in less the time by fighting random battles inside Sin.
There is a limit to how much you can get. I sure hope what Nelo's talking about is something different. |

You can shorten tham and I was greatful for that. SInce I used everyone in almost every fight the best people were of course Tidus, Auron, and Wakk. The others caught up after I had got to the end. I have yet to get someone all the way across the sphere grid.

Even when the summons were shortened, it still felt like it was too long to level up. And Spank, Rikku's Mixs are only useful If you have the items for the good mix (which are usually rare) and she hits an overdrive. I managed to get by without her.

rikku: I agree, it also doesn't help that once your characters have the thingy that can unlock it, you can do damage above 9999 anyway. Rikku is not entirely useless, but at the end of the day she's just got "a lovely personality"
