Talking Toys!

I went to the Stittsville Market today and almost keeled over when I saw all my childhood toys! There were Ninja Turtles, My Little Ponies, He-Man villains, those stuffed animals that cried, poples, and Puppy Suprises!

I had to buy some My Little Ponies and Ninja Turtles, those were my all time favourites!

What toys did you guys play with when you were kids?!

Lets see...... I had 25 figures of Ninja Turtles..... I am going to get the new collection that is just shipped to the market. They seem pretty cool.

I also had...... "G.I.Joe".... stuff..... and Cars, I had these little cars, and I think I had 500 of them.... I mean alot. I still do love playing cars...... I love making a cool accidental scene and a chase sequence.

But I played alot with Ninja Turtles toys... and I mean alot...

My Little Ponies were one of my passions. I still have some of them at home, because I like toys too much to throw them away... I used to play cars too. I also liked Transformers, Barbies and other dolls, plus I had tons of stuffed animals. I know, it's not a good mix

Omg, I'm exactly the same. I hate throwing any stuff away because I'm...so protective. But I used to have one Ninja Turtle figure (I think it was Raphael) and Strawberry Shortcake-look a like dolls, Barbies, and lots and lots of stuffed animals.

Oh the memmories. Me and my former best friend (Brian) used to spend hours upon hours playing with our figures. We had tons. A couple Power Rangers but the bulk consisted of X Men Figures. Also thier were spider man and a few spawn figures. Of course we had our fair share of Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures . We even had the Shredder Vehicle with the rotating drill on the front and the Turtle van, not to mention like 3 different Bat Mobiles oh yeah and we had Batman FIGURES too . And then later on after Brian moved away me and Trey (AKA Preventer Wind) got into buying and playing with WWF wrestling figures (Back then they were the ones with rubber arms and legs not the new crappy ones they have now) . Now my old collection has dwindled down to just a few broken X men and a Michealangelo figure with a sack of vollyballs on his back you could fill with water (He spit water out of his mouth...aint that nifty). Ahh man this thread brought back some serious memmories thanks Gad .

I had three favorites as a child. They were (are) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters, and Transformers. I played with other stuff, but those are the top three.

Talking

Umm......A Cabbage patch Doll, I've never ever had a barbie or cindy or Girlie things like that! I was more a motorbike and car girl! I was a real tomboy when I was younger! ( because I idolized my big brother!) I don't think I had that many toys to be honest..... I prefered to be outside more.

We once had one of those buckets of the little green army men. The last few toys I got were a couple of Beast Wars action figures. One year I remember getting a Ninja Turtle van that shot out pizzas and I've had various Raphael action figures. There was also a couple of the villains but I forget which ones. There's other stuff but those are the things I remember most.

Anytime!

Oh! Yeah, I used to have a few ghostbuster toys too, including the car.

And those Army ants; me and my brother always made huge battles with them, and we'd have these tin bridges going everywhere. Heh, we had pet rats too, and they'd always run across the bridges and come and steal our army ants!

We also had a HUGE collection of Hot Wheels cars, and those tracks to put them on; we made huge set-ups and everything!

Aww... it was so awesome! I almost forgot!

While we're on the topic of Ghostbusters...

I remember having the actual back-pack thing along with the gun, which was really fun to play with, though I never got the ghost-vaccum thing that they slid on the ground during the show (at the time, that was one of my most wanted toys ever ).

Other things that I remember having are those transforming TMNT figures, can't remember what exactly they transformed into, but usually played with the Master Splinter figure a lot. Then there's the Exo Squad (don't know if anyone knows that here) toys where you put the human figurines inside a bigger exoskeleton machine that had all sorts of weapons and stuff (it even had this wire thing to connect to the neck of the human ones)- classic times. Of course, there is also the usual Power Rangers action figures (hell, I even had some of those 6-weapons-in-one sets), Transformers, Silver Hawk (passed down from my brother), Voltron, Robotech (those kicked ass), Star Wars, and a bunch of other stuff I can't recall right now.

I had it all....

I had a ton of G.I. JOES and I still have all my vehicles and the Head Quarters. Though most of my figures have broken or were lost of the years.

I have all the Ninja Turtles, Splinter, Shreddar, BeBop and Rock Steady (I think those were the names). Plus I had the van.

I have a huge box full of army guys.

I also had a couple of Star Wars figures and a couple of vehicles. I still have most of it. It's boxed up somewhere at my dads.

Then I got into collecting wrestlers but now most of them reside at a friends house.

Then my most recent craz was Gund Wing. I have every figure (And some extras) of the small premade ones (Except Talgeese III)

I have a huge story that I am going through with my Gundam Wing figures and Army Guys. Oh yeah, NERD.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA I have that thing still. That thing was the bomb. I even had the ghost vaccum. But it wasn't as great as the back-pack. I'll it to you for $1,000,000.00

If I remember correctly, I had every piece of Ghostbuster equipment there was. I had the Proton Pack (I believe that's what they're called), the ghost trapper, and the goggles. I think there's an old picture of me all suited up around somewhere.

I remember I had a Six Million Dollar Man that was pretty cool. And of course all kinds of Star Wars stuff.

Anyone remember Micronauts? I loved them!

Wasn't it StarCom or sometihng like that? I remember my friend had something like that. There was a cartoon for a little while I think.

Ha! Anybody remember GoBots? Man I feel old. They were like this cheap imitation of transformers that didn't last very long.
Yeah I had some transfromers, but not very many so I had to make my own out cutting and folding peices of cardboard and scotch tape. I'd draw the little autobot or decepticon logos on them. I was always making decepticons, though

My biggest thing, though, was G.I. Joes. I loved the old cartoons. Not the re-incarnations of it they kept making, but the oooold school ones with the creation of Serpentor and all that violent and crazy stuff. Thats when cartoons used to rule!
Sadly, and I kick myself to this day, I gave away all my GI Joes to some kid who was younger than me. Just gave 'em away

_RED_ stuff
