now I don't know where 2 post this(since the Question is about online play) Is the game worth buying 2 play online? how many players? Does it look as good as the PC version of T2?

if you want a good online game try for SOCOM, it may be a bit more but it is 10 times better than tribes.

If you want Tribes get it for PC. I heard the PS2 version sucks.

There are many better FPS's anyways. UT2K3 would probably be more fun than Tribes...and there are a lot of squad-based action games on the PC (similar to SOCOM).
