I guess girls just have better things to do...who knows, girls are still a mystery to me. But I know lots of girls that like videogames, Final Fantasy in particular. (Online anyway)

I can't understand girls who don't like videogames. Being a girl and loving them, it's really weird and disappointing to me when I hear them saying they don't like videogames and prefer going shopping >__<

I don't seem to have a problem finding women who like games. One of my best "friends" loves FF almost as much as I do.

Aww, please, don't remind me about that girl...

For me it is indeed quite hard to find girls who like video games. I can understand girls who don't like guys who just play videogames and know nothing else to do. But that is one thing, different from just the fact of "liking" the games, but not meaning this it's the only thing they like. Oh well. Last time I met a girl who was able to stand a fight against me in Tekken 4 and actually kicked my ass a couple of times That was just amazing. but eh, she's already taken anyways. Coño, asi es la vida.

but to tell you the truth, the only girls I "know" that like video games as much as I do, are girls online, but really, no other girl IRL (besides that one )

Well, I don't give a damn if they like them or not either.

Wink Girls & Games

Well unfortunately its true. Most girls where I live despise video games and think its for nerds. They just want to listen to britney spears and go shopping at the mall. For me I cant imagine my life without video games. They are a part of my life. I know theres some girls that like video games as much as me. I just wish there was more.

Yes, it's very true girls say that video games r 4 nerd, But my G/F loves 2 play video games. We play Tekken Tag all the time, and we also play SSB:M all the time. She don't like FF games, don't mater, we play other games. Like DDR on her Dance Pad. Kool Game!

I don't think there is any shortage of girls who play games... Its just that it perhaps isn't too cool to talk about, or that they don't play them religously like some people do.

I know a fair few myself ^_^ ... but they all tend to stick to "intellectual" or failing that "skillful" games.... RPGs and Adventures fill the first catagory... and the other one seems to fit with the First Person Shooters: Girls can be violent too you know

Angry

I do not know 1 girl that likes 'em IRL .
Sure, they do like a few like : SF, some FF, Mario... and those ' lil ' games, per se. But where I live, it's very hard to find girls who are really into gaming. Myabe it's streotyping but what they care about mostly is make-up, clothing, and what's in.

Not only do I find that strange ( how can you not like them ?! ), but it pisses me off, as well. When a girl walks into an arcade, all the guys think she's there looking for a lip work out or whatever. Ugh

I've liked v-games since I was really young ^_^ I've just always been fascinated with them. But it is hard to find another female that liked them within flying distance around here. Most tend to think that's it's ' only for kids ', a waste of time, or just plainly that's guy stuff. Meh, I don't know... it's kinda strange to have them that out their compacts and then have me take out my game boy o.o'

Even though I could feel unique, I feel like a total weirdo. Girls just don't like them because... well, it's not ' their thing '. At least that's how it's categorized in this place.

But I've noticed that more European girls are into the gaming stuff as opposed to others. That's pretty interesting

women IN games

I have a question for the ladies. Would haveing more heroines in games make them more appealing or relate better to you in certain cases?

vgames are like a bad habit for me. I try to hide them like some sort of fetish or cocaine addiction. The other day my girlfriend came over to watch a movie and found my stash.

Its like anything, though, because gaming is a fairly new hobby, not just any person will be into it, mostly younger (6-25ish or so) types. Im a rarity, being older, and so i dont mention my interest in gaming much to women until ive gotten to know them "better", although im not ashamed of it... If a woman has a child, i will sometimes mention gaming to them, because i can safely assume they are involved somewhat with them. Its something you have to get a feeling for first, though. It can actually be an introductory tool, one time i met an attractive blind date who owned a SNES, her parents had just come in town, and i brought over Donkey Kong Country. I left the game with the folks while i took the cute babe to Dave and Busters (fun, fun, place). Then spent three hours after we got back kissing in the driveway before we went in and played DKC for another hour or so. See, videogames can be healthy in so many ways! Her parents loved me, i left the game, and picked it up a few days later.
Man, your gonna become some sort of my hero or something, dammit. I envy you.
