Another sampling of my poetry:


Foretold

It had been foretold. One would fall that night.
One would be sacrificed for the intended good of the others.
They would reap the benifits of a mentally and thence physically destroyed being.
That was what our cursed makeshift oracle's telling of the design had been.
That design would point a cold, cold hand in the chosen one's direction.

Having fallen to the ground behind me through a rush of air and landing in a terrifying thud against a ground that thrust against the body with such angry defiance, I had no choice but to succumb to what it willed.
What it all willed, for that matter, the thread in the web of my fate it wove that night would have repurcussions like the shockwave just sent through these frail organs upon impact.
Repurcussions none could ever prepare for...

Very long verses... this is indeed an original way to write poetry..

That's a really good piece of poetry. As Hylas said, the verses are longer than usual, and this makes it resemble a lot to the flowing of your thoughts.

This one is a really dark poem to me. Very pessimistic... and the words used are especially good to make the reader feel uncomfortable. I've got this impression.
