Dont U Think, Ps2 Not Being Able To Play VCD's Is A Bad Thing. I Mean Its A Mighty Machine, Plays Audio, DVD PsOne Ps2 Games And CDs. It Could Have Been Better If It Played VCD's As Well. I Know Not Many People Buy VCD's Nemore. But Still.....Its Something That Exist And I Hate The Fact That It Cant Play......VCDs... Darn! Right?

Yeah makg, I wish they did because my friend has Resident Evil on VCD and I'd love to watch it on my PS2... but alas, I never will....

I Have So Many VCD's At My Place, Cause I Use To Watch It On PsOne And Now That I Hook My Ps2, I Cant Watch It, For That I Have To Watch My VCD's On My Computer!.!

Ps2 Shouldve Had A VCD Player As Well.....!....Agghh!

Vcd's are when you download films and watch them on your Pc arnt they.
I wached a VCD on my pc and it sucked, just sitting here, looking at a moniter

Can some DVD players play VCD'S ?

yes some dvds can and your deceptuion of vcd's is wrong films you d/l are usually in mpeg or avi/divx format people can then convert them to vcd.

But VCD is an actual means of entertainment not just for pirating you can buy official legal vcd's too

In the uk if you go to Argos Or Comet/Currys & buy the cheapest DVD for round about £100 it will play All DVD/VCD/AudioCD's & 8 times out of ten the player will have more functions than some of the top make's

your ps2 can probably play VCD's if you install the proper software into it.
I have a dvd player that plays vcd's and dvd's.
