Ff 10 Question!

you know how in the other series of the game there were means of transportation, but in ff 10 how do u travel across teh vast world? -thanx

You don't O.o'' Er- I mean... in FFX, there is no Wold Map like in the other FFs. So, whenever you're going from one place to another, you see this little screen with a little road and a trail appears. Unlike in other FFs, you don't get to walk around or move from area to are *mini spoiler* until later in the game. In other words... you are just " taken " there, so to speak. Kinda kills some of the interaction if you ask me.

After you complete about 85% of the game, you'll get an airship to use. I won't disclose the location and time you get it, but eventually, one will be yours to use.
