From what I've heard and seen, yes. Haven't played it myself though, so I don't really know.

From what I've heard....more like a rental, but still not sure. I'll be getting the game from Japan soon, so I'll let you guys know how it is after I get it.

Supposedly comes out this week, but I haven't decided if I should buy it yet; even though I have been hyped up ever since I heard about the game. And besides, I just bought Onimusha 2 and about to get Kingdom Hearts, so its also a money problem as well.

Publisher: Sega
Developer: Red Company Genre: Action Basically, the story is about a long dead assassin named Grave, or "Beyond the Grave", that has been brought back to life to fight against some mysterious criminal organization. The game features furious fighting complete with weapon combos and special attacks; one involving a giant tombstone that is slung around his back which also doubles as a rocket launcher of some sort. Though it may be short (I believe spanning only about 2 hours or so) I've heard that it was a lot of fun while it lasted. Here's the final word for the US review from IGN: "Here is what it boils down to: shooting things is fun. Shooting things, when properly presented, is one hell of a lot of fun, and Gungrave presents more shooting packed more densely with more impressive style than just about any other game in the last several years. Not even Devil May Cry comes quite this far in the style department, and in comparison, it certainly doesn't measure up in the continuous-shooting department, containing as it did far too many unforgivable lapses in the tempo of gunfire. Going into Gungrave, then, recognize that this is a straightforward old-school shooter with a bit of depth to master and a few forgivable flaws, and things should go just fine. If you demand more length and depth from your games nowadays, and there's nothing wrong with that, go forth and sin no more. There are certainly plenty of other games to receive your attention. For now, however, I have a fever, and I believe the only prescription is shooting things." |

Thanks for the info, Dragon Sphere. I'll probably rent it and check it out becasue it seems absolutely attractive to me (too bad it seems to be so short, that sucks )
