File Sharing, help!

I am looking for a good file sharing program, without spywares or such things! What do you suggest to get? Please, help, thank you_!

Kazaa Lite would the one you'd be looking for, if you want it without spyware.

E-mule is the best by far IMO, amazingly huge amount of files and no spyware what so ever.

I also hear DC++ (https://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/) is fantastic too, but I've never took the time to properly figure out how to use it, although I think it is similar to an IRC Fserve... if you know what that is/how to use it.

Mmmm, funny you should say that Kupo. Since a few updates ago, eMule has been making my PC freeze and lock too.... Bah - wish I could get an older version!

Thanks all, I'll try some of your suggestion... but again to be sure, among those programs is there anyone which installs on your pc also other programs, like Gator or similar? Because I don't want them!

Are you running Zone Alarm Kupo? If so, there is a known issue with eMule and Zone Alarm that causes your PC to freeze - just found this otu yesterday.

I was aware of that, but then I tried running it without Zone Alarm and got the exact same problem anyway. Any luck with you? It seems a bit dodgy anyway, I mean, of all the times I feel I need a firewire up, when I'm filesharing has got to be somewhere near the top of the priorities list.

I use Kazaa Lite, Winmx, and Imesh. I think Imesh is loaded with the spyware shit, but it doesn't cause to much of a problem.

can anyone give me some links as where to get the free download for k-lite or other music download sites.. everywhere I go for k-lite they want me to join some club and sign up for membership fees! Unless that is what everyone did?
