currently there is no specific date for their release. I heard it said recently that we'll get them a la' FF Anthology in a set where you'll buy both (no figures, art etc.)... but I haven't actually heard anything 100% concrete anyway.
well what do I care... i'm european! the US will always certainly get FF titles... even if FFX sells 1 million copies in 6 months in the EU, we'll still get fobbed off with the "there isn't the market for such a title" excuse ^_^

1. Many well known Internet companies (for instance, Amazon) don't ship software outside of their continental areas, which ultimatley means that you have to go to a back-of-the-woods type site that speciallises in game imports: often that means having to research a fair bit into finding someone who's reputable, cheap and not likely to screw up your order and mail it to Tibet instead of Torquay. 2. Import taxing is a bitch. Sometimes you beat it, but others times, your goods will get caught and you'll end up paying what you paid to order the damn thing in the first place. = paying possibly four times the actual US street price, if you didn't buy from someone with cheap shipping or software prices. 3. the entire US TV system works on a different standard [NTSC] , so any TV-Console (not PC or Gameboy Advance type things) will output in the wrong signal to your PSOne [which works on PAL], which won't then allow you to display the picture. To get it to work, you have to mod your Console so it will allow you to see the picture, providing you have a TV / Video out cable that is capable of displaying an NTSC signal. The NTSC/PAL crossover is one of the many reason that English translated games don't always make it to Europe. The difference is somthing to do with PAL having a better image quality, because it has a larger ammount of lines per screen, but taking a hit to how quickly the screen will refresh (a PAL tv only refreshes 50 times per second, whereas a NTSC tv refreshes 60 times a second). Often companies simply can't be bothered to do a half-decent conversion anyway - which results in "PE Teacher" sized bars at the top and bottom of the screen, and an excuse that "its umm... widescreen!"
