Also, about DVD's
A friend told me that most DVD's are double lensed and PS2 games arent. So when you play a DVD it has to work twice as hard and wears out your PS2 alot faster. Is this true, and is it worth not playing DVD's anymore (P.S. I rent about one or 2 movies a week and watch them on it ?

Well Weapon, about 80% of PS2 video games are on DVD-rom format... so that means you'd have to be giving up games as well as movies. I say enjoy your PS2, it's definitely worth watching dvd movies... and I don't think it ruins your PS2 at all.
