Check it out. Its a CG Motion picture. Im excited. Although I have been reading at some sites that this was made by a fan and not actually going to be a movie but either way it looks good.

Ok, this is not my genre at all. The thing that anyway bothers me more is this overproduction of CG movies. They really bother me! What is it? An easier way to make movies that otherwise will result awful productions?

But I guess fans will like it if it's not totally lame. From the trailer doesn't look very original

This is actually a better gesture to the fans then the last three live action RE movies. Here you can get the actual characters and not some random person trying to look like Leon Kennedy or Claire Redfield. You can do more in the realm of the game in CG and the fact it seems to be entirely done by Capcom themselves and not a movie studio means it will ACTUALLY stick to the game.

Personally, it has me excited. The last three RE movies are doing nothing but draining the good from the franchise with half-assed cash-in crap.

On that note though CG movies are overly produced nowadays but CG movies if you ask me fit a lot better when trying to do a movie based off a videogame. You can actually get things right down to characters, voice actors, and respect to the original material. Like I said, I’m excited I’ve been an RE fan since RE2 and I’m glad to see there’s a shimmer of hope for it in the context of a movie.

I think it looks like a cool movie, definitely will see this, it might suck but looks like i'll risk it because of course as I love resident evil, not the previous movies though with a superwoman WTF it's about survival not hollywood crap, oh well... I also hate it how they hammer out the resi movies and we have all been waiting AGES for resi 5, hurry up with it already

I really liked the first RE movie, not as a game-2-movie flick but as a stand-alone zombiemovie(which I always like!).

Personally, I think I might tend to agree with you in the case of 300 for example, but this looks like the sort of entirely CG film that might be very fitting to the RE series.. you know being a video game and all. Final Fantasy: Advent Children was a pretty good success I think.
