This movie is damn awsome!

I didn't like the last 20 minutes of it though... I was expecting a more exciting outcome, but, nevertheless, the movie was pretty good, I really enjoyed it.

So, if there's anybody who has seen the series, is the series as good as this movie is, I mean, story-wise?

Pre ordered the ultimate box set addition back in the day. Got it first day it came out, and well, I loved it. I had many others watch it, some who were excaflowne veterans, others who well, weren't. It seems like i was the only person who actually liked it. It was a dissapointment compared to the series, but aside of that, i still thought it rocked hard core.

But that's my opinion i guess.

That movie was awesom... compaired to the series, I liked the movie better.
Story-wise, they are basically the same... 'cept the series is more drawn out, gives you a bit more of the story. And some of the cracters in the movie arent in the series, or have different rols kinda thing. Minor differences, both still good.

It was great when it came to animation and character voices, but I didn't like the way they changed everyones roles and the way the story was delivered. Its a good movie overall, but the series is alot better.
