yes, it seems the oceans ecosystem can't support giant 39 foot 13 ton octopus monsters anymore like it use too..
https://www.rr.com/v5/images/ap/SCL101070215.jpg *Two scientists measure a rare, giant octopus found dead on a beach in Los Muermos some 1,100 kilometers (680 miles) south of Santiago, the Chilean capital on Sunday, June 29, 2003. The scientists of the Center for the Preservation of Cetacea said a sample of the octopus is being sent to specialists in France for further study. No similar species had been found in Chile in over a century. (AP Photo/Elsa Cabrera, Centro de Conservacion Cetacea) * Quote:

I remember reading a similar article about a giant squid some months ago. Octopuses are creepy, but they look really melacholic once you see them dead on the beach.... I'd adopt one of these ... creatures ... but I have not enough space for them in my bathtub
![]() BTW, these are the sons of Cthulhu, I tell you. They're being unlucky, but one day they'll rule the seven seas! Or are they already ruling them? Arrr! |

If its the fault of humans that the oceans ecosystem cant support them anymore then I may feel bad. If not then..well thats nature
It would be cool to see one of them in action but I hear actually spotting them in action under the water is next to impossible because they are so allusive.

Talking of sea creatures, I recently heard on the news that scientists have discovered nearly hundred of new animals near NZ. I've seen pictures of some of them and almost all of them have those kind of warped scary mouths and look like freaks. It most be heaven for those scientist the researche on those animals can take years.

Those animals don't look very appealing once you find them dead on the beach
![]() I'd like to see a giant octopus while it's still alive!

Giant octupus' are pretty scary.
But isn't it pretty exciting to know that we haven't found all the different creatures in the world? Gives us a bit of New World style romance to know that giant sea monsters are still lurking in the depths! And a great new threat to pirates . . . arrrr.

I'd probably be traumatized for the rest of my life... I'm probably exaggerating, but yes, after all I'm a coward... Being a pirate it'd be different! Grog and tattoos make you stronger, arrr!
