Do you play your games as much as you thought you would?

I find myself spending less and less time on my games. I don't think it's because I'm bored, but because maybe
there haven't been as many games lately that I'm as excited about. Plus, life has a way of throwing plenty of other
necessities at you. Just wondering how many people here spend more time dusting your consoles than you do
turning them on.

i've been playing ALOT lately..mainly due to my new tv and theater surround sound. tomb raider 3 sounds great on there..well did. I'm currently plaing thru The Last Revelation. I take breaks from TR every now and then for some DOAX,Tenchu,Project Gotham Racing and Midnight Club 2.

I've been spending very little time with games, if any at all lately. Usually, I am too busy trying to spend time with my riends and g/f, cause I know I won't be seeing them for months. I've got ten days till i ship out for boot camp, and i'd rather spend it with my peeps than with a controller. Oh yeah, when I am at home cuz i couldnt get ahold of anyone, i spend my time here on the net...

Yes, but that's primarily because it's hard for me to come across new titles. You need to have money to get games and that is something I don't have much of. I will be getting a job here sometime soon, so the amount of time I spend playing games will be picking up then.

Angry

Nope.

I sincerely thought I would spend most of my time playing the games I already own and haven't beat and/or trying out a few new ones. However, I haven't done much playing at all.

When lucky, I get like 2 hours in, and most of that in spent on Contra . These hours happen to be late at night, so that by that time, I'm pretty tired and don't want to play much.

The main reason for this is probably because my mom is on vacation and I'm doing all the housework and such, which gobbles up a big piece of my day. After finishing, I go out to spend money that I shouldn't and wander around. Lately I've been getting home around 4 am. so, as you might imagine, I don't want to do anything but rest.

With my mommy out and a new TV (which is cool since my old was pretty small... this one's pretty big. yay!) my dady-o bought me, I thought I've have more time, and a better, time, but no.

Blah. It's time I get on the ball and get going with this.

I've hardley been playing at all lately. There's not a lot out there right now that I want to play. I really thought that after I got done with my semester and with my broken ankle that I would be playing a lot. I was wrong. Now that my ankle is healed I've picked up my usual hours at work which still shouldn't keep me from videogames but like I said I just haven't felt the urge to play lately. I hope the gamer inside me isn't dying

I haven't been playing much either like not for over two months. Too many things that need to be done like catching the bus to college spend over 7hrs there come home on the bus and by then I only have 3hrs left which i spend 2 hrs studying and the other hr online. Well this weekend I intend to have a gaming session.

Since beating XenoSaga in late April i havent played anything on the console. I havent had any desire to, so it may be a while before im into something again. Everquest on the pc has been fun for short stints, and soon i should have my power back on at my house (controlled YAY!). So eventually i will look at Tenchu Wrath of Heaven and Clock Tower 3 and maybe Ape Escape 2 (probably rent it). But overall games havent been much more than 128 bit upgrades of what youve already played, i can understand someones boredom with the current gaming world. I did get a chance to see Dynasty Warriors 4 in action and must say it sure looks good...

No, actually, I can't! IMO, new and exciting titles are constantly coming out, but more importantly there are hundreds of them out the I haven't had a chance to play yet, from both the PS1 and PS2 and I'm planning on getting a gamecube and don't forget all those timeless classics that never die. Don't forget these great Castlevania's that keep coming out on the GBA! I don't know I just think if you look in the right places there are plenty of exciting games to play right now. And the line up of ones coming out looks exciting. And hey, considering all this time everybody's saying they don't have to play their games, think about all the one's you already have then that you must not have beaten yet! I know I'm excited about the games I haven't played through yet on my shelf.

I think my attention is just other places right now. I'd rather get out of my house than stay and play games.

I had three months earlier this year to sit and do nothing, make no money, and sit and watch TV. I can do that soon enough, but getting the chance to visit with, and make friends, is something i also like doing. There is always videogame time, i am gonna go see T3 tomorrow for sure...

I just borrowed SOCOM from trunks69420 earlier today, but I still haven't played it. It's gettting quite weird how little attention I've been giving my consoles lately.

There is some truth to that, Dan, and also i expect some of us are ready for a bit more innovation. Playing sequels in videogames is somewhat like watching sequels in movies, after a while it can get downright dull. I went to T3 last night, pleeeeze dont do this again!!
