Yoko Kanno

Hey there.

If you like anime music you probably know of Yoko Kanno. She composed many soundtracks for anime like Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne and Macross Plus plus many more.

I've seen Macross Plus and Cowboy Bebop and the music is so great, unbeleivably great. Macross Plus had some fricking great tunes, and we all know how good Cowboy Bebop's them-tunes are.

So any-body else here a fan? Anybody got a specific Yoko Kanno song to recommend. I Really Like "What Planet Is This?" From Cowboy Bebop.

I like Cowboy Bebop soundtrack a lot. I haven't watched Macross Plus and I've only watched part of Escaflowne, so I can give an opinion. But Cowboy Bebop soundtrack is one of my faves, speaking of anime. My fave songs are probably Blue, Green Bird, 3.14 and Tank!, just to name some of them.

I've been a big fan of her for quite a while now. Hew music is really good. especially her stuff with Maaya Sakamoto in the Escaflowne OST. The Cowboy Bebop music is great, my favorite song being the Egg And I. But yeah, she is good.

I believe she also did music for the new Ghost in the Shell TV series (Stand Alone Complex). Anyway, yeah her music is good in CB and my favs. are:

"Wo Qui No Coin"
"Blue"
"Tank"
"Call Me, Call Me"

Blue is a great song for an anime series. I even cried at the end of CB, when the music started
