I don't know if anyone suggested this before, but how's about

a general section for online gaming. I'd like to maybe setup some twisted metal matches or hook up with people before heading out to play everquest online or starwars galaxies. Just a thought.

If your on about new forums, thats been asked and the answer was no, Its a good idea though.

They have explained it many times and they sya that's why they have separate forums for different genres as well.

Yup, it would make no sence to make a online scetion for tony hawks for example when we have a sports forum, the only reason this site has a socom forum is becuase fortune said they have something to do with a socom site summat like that.

I'm not positive but I think they have an affiliation with the makers of SOCOM, can't remember.

But the answers like always no for new forums, no matter what.

The SOCOM Online forums was created because our site was affiliated with SCEA's official SOCOM website. Btw, SOCOM was the first big online title to hit the console.

We'll create new forums for specific games only at the right moment, and only if our staff consider those games important enough to have a dedicated forum.

A game like Twisted Metal: Black Online, which is like an expansion to the original game, can be discussed in Action & Adventure; to make another example, games like THPS or ATV Offroad Fury are only in part online games, and can be discussed in Sports forums.

A little note: Deadpool, when Star Wars: Galaxies will be confirmed for the Playstation 2, we'll undoubtedly create a dedicated forum. At this point, only the Xbox and PC version are a certainty.
