Question About DVD's If You're A Buff
when a dvd says it has 'deleted scenes', does that mean that scenes that were left out before are now in the movie, or they just show the left out scenes at the end with all the other junk and hoo-ha?

That really depends on the DVD, some have them only at the end, but some have the feature that you can see the movie with the deleted scenes, only if those scenes were not replaced by others (you can't see two different scenes of the same action), so it really depends of the DVD.

just to add, most deleted things are put in the bonus secion of a dvd and you can veiw them anytime you \use the DVD, most of the time they are unfinnished pieces and look really crappy.

Yeah, they are scenes which were cut out for some reason, If they were dropped early after filming, they will be very poor quality and sound real bad, as there was no point in editing them for the cinema, If they were dropped at the last moment for reasons of time etc, they will look considerably better. Some movies had extra cenes added, not as a bonus, but as part of the Fil, the Fellowship of the Ring did this on the DVD, and I think they added some new scenes on the Remastered ET. I personally Love deleted Scenes, there are some real Gems out there which leave you wondering why they werent in there, Deleted Scenes should be the first Thing you watch after you watch the film.

ummm... really they are not worth watching cus they are crappy thats why they were left out! The best kinda features is something called Intifilm! I know Rush Hour 2 has it, I can remember what else! |

dude, most deleted scenes r funny like in the movie "Big Trouble in Little China" had some great deleted scenes
