Has anyone read kindred? Or Bloodchild?
I've just begun to read Kindred, I got the book today and have to read it by monday. I already know I'm going to be hooked on it and I'm not the type to really read books. I have to read it by monday because next wednesday we are going to meet her. Maybe I'll buy her book and get it autographed. I do that sometimes. I read poetry books mostly, if I have time to read. I'm going to start reading more and you'll probably see me less and less.

I haven't read the book you mentioned in your post, but hey, meeting the author of a book is always a really interesting thing, also if the book is not your fave one or even if you don't like it a bit. You can learn a lot of things from some writers, and btw you'll maybe even like the book more, once you have talked to the author.
