Chest Puzzle In Omega Ruins

hmm i completed this all in the correct order and got 99 warp spheres. I found it quite easy and I just thought alot of people had done it. Then my friend in irc tells me that he knows like only one person whos done it and seen 30+ page forum threads on techniques to tackling it.

So I ask you, did you manage to beat it? Was i just having a lucky day?

actaully i'm going to be doing the omega ruins after i finish upgrading my cloud mirror since i just aquired the last hidden aeon(s)

i've been checking around to see how hard it is and how long it is.how long did it take you?

basically its 14 chests in groups of 2 and 3 and eventually 6 or somet along those lines. You have to open EVERY chest in the right order to obtain the ultimate prize of 99 warp spheres.

but for example opening just 1 will you you a level 4 key sphere.

it didnt really take me long as such did it first time and its completely random so no guide can help im afraid.

Ahh...finally, I have the Strategy Guide but I didn't get the puzzle described in it. Anyway, no, I didn't do it, and I heard that if you save after opening one or two 'good' chest, that it resets itself. I don't know what happens to the item though......

its random so no the guide wont help you and yes if you save youve blown it afaik.

Can't you save it before the puzzle , and then keep trying to guess ?
I mean you would be able to guess it right after a while.

Well, I'm f***ed because I just played that part straight, like an idiot, opened the chests in wrong order and saved.
