Why Cid?

Do you know why in every FF game there's a Cid?
I'd like to know, but I have no idea

I guess maybe because it's a tradition, it's the same as asking,

"Why are there chocobos in every FF?"

because, it just wouldn't be the same without 'em.

It's mostly just because of tradition

I dunno...I think it's just the FF trademark...you know darn well that if you come across a Cid, a Chocobo, or an airship etc. that your playing an FF...as Esjay said...it's tradition!

On a similar note:

I heard they putted Biggs & Wedge in honor of the Star Wars movies... Maby it's somethin' similar with Cid... no ?
