network adapter help!!!!

i got the adapter for online play. how do i set it up i have road runer cable internet please help

Is your Ps2 next to your computer, if it is, connect your internet cable to your network slot, not the phone line, it won't be that hard to no which slot to put in, because the ethernet cable is larger then the phone line, but if you want it connected far from your computer, like im doing, you have to ask me when you read this, because it is to long to type. I ain't lazy, but I won't type somethin that isn't asked. Hope it works, and nothing goes wrong.

If your PS2 is connected to a router with PPPoE, then use "Automatic Setup". If it's connected to a DSL modem, enter your ISP user name and password and shit like that.
