Mixing potion...
If you could mix any two games, which would they be. By this I mean, is there one game that you love, but the controls suck, or you like the way a character moves better, ect.
I would have to say Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid 2. If you could use Snakes control scheme in a RE game, it would be so much better. Rotate and pivot are gone. Complete controll, and being able to go into First person mode... EVEN BETTER!!

*thinks*
Depends on the genre. For example I don't think mixing games from different genres only because I like them would make them good games. Remaining on a sinlge genre (for example RPG) I'd say that mixing anything of FFVII with a battle system like the one of Grandia, for example, would imrove battles, that are the only thing to get boring after some time in rpgs like FF. |

i'd mix a final fantasy game with the suidoken fighting system. it's kind of like tactics, but better cuz you can actually have a person get in two hits a turn and stuff depending on their stats. (makes more sense to me)

Any turn-based RPG with the Lord of the Rings games. I've always thought that they would make a great RPG.

They should mix the artistic and graphical splendor and depth and controls of Soul Reaver 2 wiht the length and depth and all that aforementioned stuff of Soul Reaver 1. Then we would have the perfect Soul Reaver.
_RED_ stuff

hmm...
UT2003 (the perspective, graphics and close range gunfights) + UT (the sniping) + Metal Gear Solid (the espionage and stealth) + System Shock 2 (the RPG like stats and the weapon adjustments) + a decent combat flight sim (i know of none, but what the hey...) + C&C Red Alert (strategy section) + earth and beyond (space combat sections) + homeworld (space strategy) = one big development time, and an online game in which you would assume any or multiple roles in a galactic war, with your missions being assigned by real life commanders who assess your skill from an online database of your previous missions. You could play as many sides of the war - A soldier specialising in any section of weapons that you choose, a spy working alone to bring down the enemy within, a pilot (planet based, or space based) bombing and dog-fighting with the enemy or even the commander who orders the troops to the next objective... hell you could put in a load more things (naval combat) but it might get a bit silly if too crammed (outbreaks of zombies on your homeplanet which you must kill with a rusty crowbar!)
