im not sure if this is right but can some one tell me what gun star i think its called. whats it about everyone wants me to watch it.

Do you mean "Outlaw Star"? I don't think there's an anime called "Gun Star"...when I tried to look it up, it brought me to an old Genesis game.

Ya its outlaw star. I just couldnt remember its name. But my friends say its better than dbz and I really havent found a anime better than dbz(cough, cough akira, cough, cough). so is it worth watching.

It is just as good as DBZ if not better. It's got a good, understandable plot and love interests and other stuff. My favorite character is Aysha(sp?).

Outlaw was an excellent series. It could have been better though with the ending, but i wont spoil any of that for you. And the animation gets kinda crappy in some of the laster episodes, but they still kept the last five very decent. The story progresses nicely, and is quite funny. The characters are very lovable, and has planty of action to keep you interested. This isn't the best by far though. As you go on you will find out that DBZ is nothing compared to some of the others out there. And outlaw star is barely scraping the top. But i'm glad that you liked akira, which is one of the best, imo. So i'm sure that you will find a lot of joy in some of the others out there. And if you get the chance, make sure that you watch outlaw star unedited, because on Cartoon Newtwork, they edited the sh*t out of it, and didn't even air my favorite episode of them all. Episode 23 Hot Springs Planet Tenrei. But anyways, hope you continue on with the show, and i'm sure you'll love it.
