Winter for me can definately be a pain. I enjoy all the seasons at this point in my life because I feel like I have become more in tune with the Earth itself, but there is no denying the inconveniences that the snow causes. I have a great car in every sense of the phrase 'great car' except that it has rear-wheel drive. This is cool in all of the other seasons mind you, but in the winter it makes for some pretty tough driving. It is no where near as bad as the oldsmobile I used to drive that felt like boat in the slightest hint of ice, but it still makes me nervous. I live just far enough out of the way of a lot of conveniences and the nearest highway that it is an extremely large job to dig your way out of the snow this time of the year to be able to get to the places you need to go...including work! So, with all that said, maybe you can all understand my dislike for winter. Sometimes it gets so cold here it is ridiculous and I will never like that frigidness in the air. It just seems to do way more harm than good.
On a more positive note, a "winter wonderland" can be a truly beautiful looking thing around here.
