here, ill give you some really cool combos to do..

- Dante's sword combos are performed differently. First off, get used to NOT PRESSING R1. Because the "cooler" combos deal with not pressing it.

- Anyway, here we go. Press Triangle with no direction in rapid succession to peform a four hit combo.

- Press Triangle Once, then Press Any Directional and then keep pressing Triange. You'll then perform a three hit-combo.*remember, R1 not depressed*

- Press Triangle Twice, THEN press any direction, and conitnue mashing Triangle. You will then peform a kick ass 8 hit combo...or ten hit combo. Lost count.

- And lasty, Press Triangle three times, THEN press any direction, and while direction depressed, mash Triangle, you'll peform a sazzy 6 hit combo.(this is my fav. combo)

- Pressing R1 only allows you to perform Stinger and Hightime-that is the only unique thing about it. Also, the only combo you can do with R1 depressed is the standard four hit combo *I believe*

- To perform Hightime...it's the same as DMC1. Press and hold, and Dante will go up in the air. After so, press X again at the peak, and when at the peak, press R1 Triange Twice quickly, then press Triangle again. This process looks like, Hightime, Jump in air, double jump, TWO kickflips, finish with down chop. Very cool.

Multiple-stab combo(Devil trigger form): Triangle Triangle, pause 1 second,directional button + Triangle again. No need for mashing.

6-hit combo: Different variations. First one is simple. 2 hit combo, lock-on, 4 hit combo, all linked up. Second one is afore mentioned by the topic creator, but you simply press at any other direction (most preferably back) while in your third slash to instantly chain into the second set of 3 slashes.
