Tactics is by far the greatest in my opinion.

The story of Ramza Beoulve and Delita Hyral is simply perfect. Their quest to end a war that has split the country of Ivalice. While their paths are different, they both want the same goal.

The music of this game keeps you captivated during the battles while setting the right mood during story dialouge.

The job class system was perfect for this game. Raising an army of wizards, knights, summoners, elementalists, and even chocobos.

All the characters they run across each have a great background and their development through the game helps the player identify with them a little more. (I find myself a mix between Beowulf and Delita).
