Sorry for the late reply (), but there were some slow-downs, but they weren't so noticeable...at least to me. *gets smacked* I would prefer to get the PS2 version because the controller is the best to play, but Xbox would be the next best (but only if you use the S type...I can't imagine using the regular controllers for the game ).

For those who read my review of the Japanese version, I'm sorry to have mislead anyone if I did. I only played the PS2 version, so I couldn't compare it to the JP Xbox and GC ones, otherwise I would've given a full review. So, if there are any errors you guys find in the US release, I'm sorry.
