yup.. but if UT2003 showed anything, it's that user made content can make a game. The maps made by third-party authors in the year since release were better than most of those that made it into the game. Its a shame that users can't make content like that for console games, and you have to rely on the authors to utilise their technology the best that they can.

Bungie, with the level design for Halo 1 in mind, is not a company i'd trust to bring out consistantly brilliant downloadable content.
